Number 1

Education Scholarship – (applicable only to children of former or retired living or deceased members)

Secondary – Higher Secondary – Up to Graduation and Post Graduation.


Number – 2

Incentive Scholarship – (Applicable only to children of former or retired living or deceased members)

From 5th standard to post graduation.


Number – 3

Professional Scholarship – (applicable to former or retired living or deceased faculty members or both)

Opportunity to participate in all types of technical training for free.


Number – 4

Ophthalmology (applicable only to ex- or retired members of the armed forces and their spouses and to children of serving members – provided the child is under 18 years of age. #CareerMessage ]

Free eye treatment including operation will be provided free of charge if required.

Implantation of Prosthetic Limbs – (Applicable only to ex- or retired members of armed forces)


If a member needs any artificial limb addition or repair - it will be provided free of charge.

Special treatment means - if it is necessary to go to the country for advanced treatment or any treatment that is not available in Bangladesh, then it will be carried free of charge.

Medical Dispensary Facility – [Applicable only to ex-servicemen or retired members of armed forces and their spouses]

Retired military personnel and their spouses are –

Through dispensaries located in 22 under District Military Board and 7 in CMHA

Providing doctor and medicine facility for regular treatment

Bereavement Allowance – Applicable only to spouses of martyred and deceased members of the armed forces –

In case of martyrdom or death of a member, his wife will be included in this allowance.

Seniority Allowance – Applicable only to ex-servicemen or retired members of armed forces aged 65 and 70.

The said allowance is applicable only to freedom fighter members (age 70) and injured members (age 65) in operations in Chittagong Hill Tracts.

Financial Assistance – Payment from the Special Fund of the Managing Authority of the Army Welfare Organization for the welfare of retired members of the Armed Forces only.

Restrooms – Officers Restrooms in Dhaka and Chittagong run by Army Welfare Organization and

Restroom facilities are available at Dhaka, Chittagong and Rajshahi for JCOs and ORDs.

Housing Arrangements - Housing arrangements for poor freedom fighter members and spouses of martyred members or deceased members who were only retired military personnel.
